Now, you can finally take the plunge into learning French! There are some accessories you might want to consider to help you in your studies, though. When I was studying French, one absolute essential was my Larousse dictionary. This is a very dependable dictionary that has helped me through plenty of difficult French words.
The next accessory you’ll want to keep is a mini-journal of your progress. Write down new words you’ve just learned, ideas for words you want to look up, as well as a “quick access” section for everyday essentials, like days of the week, months of the year, colors, numbers, conversational manners, etc.
